Slammer

Question:
Hey guys, does anyone know what kind of wood the strat style slammers are made of? I looked it up on their website and all it said was "hardwood".
Answer:
shipping off to guitar...
Answer:
That's pretty vague - likely 'cause they are reserving the right to use different species depending on availability, price, etc. Or it could be that it was undetermined at the time of writing that. I would e-mail their customer service, and ax 'em. Does it say solid hardwood, or just hardwood? Could also be a subterfuge for plywood. That said, I have played a couple electric guits made of a mahogany plywood (probably luan, or other inexpensive asian species) that were very nice sounding guitars. As a matter of fact, I have one in my basement, a cheapo I picked up for next to nothing (future project). Just listening to it acoustically for a bit, it has nice sustain and I think will sound good when I get it put together. I have a couple extra P 90's that I think I'm gonna put in it...
Answer:
I'll try that tom, thanks.
Did I post this somewhere other that the guitar forum? I must be going crazy. I'm sorry.
