Answer: Morning: You are good - as done by Isreal Houghton Be glorified Sweet Mercies Evening: Come fill me up More than Enough Hungry Holiness Answer: Originally Posted by Dave H You are good - as done by Isreal Houghton I like that song - how does it work at your church? The lead singer isn't quite as adept at the ad-lib leading style like Israel Houghton, but hey we're presbyterian We first did this song at a Sunday evening contemporary song service, so when we introduced it on a Sunday morning, there was a large enough group who knew it and apparently liked it, and as far as I could tell, most people joined in the singing. There's always a few at our church who can't stand any music except hymns done in a traditional style and I can't help but notice their stony faces, especially when I kick on the wah during the first instrumental break Over all, I'd say our church really enjoys the song and it's far and away one of the most fun songs to play that we do Answer: Well, I know what you mean as far as your church with music, Dave. My church is a bunch of people who are from West Virginia, Kentucky, or were born in Ohio but all their family is from West Virginia. They are the traditional style when it comes to hymns. All the special singing is southern gospel songs or something in the like. They aren't big on the P&W scene because my pastor always talks about the 7/11 songs. The same 7 words sung over and over again 11 times. But I do P&W or will start to do it back in youth group. But yeah. I'll post in here once I get going on it. It's just me and my guitar. Answer: We're doing: You're Worthy of My Praise (I Will Worship) I Could Sing of Your Love Forever Your Love Oh Lord Come Thou Fount Take My Life (and Let it Be)- (Passion Hymns album) -Jonathan Answer: Originally Posted by Decency They aren't big on the P&W scene because my pastor always talks about the 7/11 songs. The same 7 words sung over and over again 11 times. Haha. It is now officially a goal of mine to find a song that actually has only 7 words that are repeated exactly 11 times. Haha. Maybe I'll write one. That would be great. Haha. *obfuscates ostensibly* In His love, Nate Answer: 1-30-05 Meet With Me (A) A Mighty Fortress -Promise Keepers version (Bb, C) Your Great Name We Praise – Immortal Invisible (G) Enough (G) Knowing You (C) It Is Well With My Soul (C) Step By Step (G) Offering: The Trade (G) Answer: INTRO Video Clip (using the song "Meant To Live" borrowed from emergingminister.com) Consuming Fire Glory, Honor, Power All The Earth Will Sing Your Praises Lord Reign In Me Lord Of Every Man Message Shout To The North Answer: PDL - Week 1 Blessed Be The God And Father [Ephesians 1] (D) Before There Was Time (D) Welcome Jesus, Lover Of My Soul (D) Treasure (G) Sermon: What on earth am I here for?
