Insofar as Questions Go (RC)

Question:
Okay, this is kind of a weird one, the rhyming scheme is that every verse rhymes with itself, or nothing at all, I don't quite know how to explain it, but if you don't get it, just ask, and I'll be happy to try:

Insofar as Questions Go
verse 1:
Can I fit all my thoughts into a single song?
And would it be as long as I think?
What if the words don’t give me any help?
Insofar as answers go
Chorus:
Hey, hey, could you help us when we’re wondering? As in, when will you start answering?
verse 2:
If I ask another question will you answer this one?
Or will the silence grow and stretch?
Like I think it has for the remembered past?
Insofar as answers go
Chorus 2:
Hey, hey, could I help it when I'm wondering? As in, when will I start listening?
Bridge/Ending:
Well here’s one answer at least,
I couldn’t fit all my thoughts into a single song
So let loose the dogs of critique, and tear it all to shreds!

verse 1:

Insofar as answers go Pretty interesting structure, I like the first few lines of questions followed by that last line.
Chorus:
Hey, hey, could you help us when we’re lost? When will you start answering? Ehh, I'm not sure if the chorus is as strong as your verses. The part about being lost, while I think I know how you got to that, doesn't really seem to flow from your verse. Or maybe I'm just not getting something
verse 2:
If I ask another question will you answer this one?
Or will the silence grow and stretch?
Like I think it has for the remembered past?
Insofar as answers go If for no other reason than consistency, this verse is great. Nice twist on the first one.
Chorus 2:
Hey, hey, could I help it when I'm lost? When will I start listening? See my comments for the 1st chorus. The connection between the choruses is neat (when will you answer vs. when will I listen) but they seem like a disconnected thought from the rest of the song.
Bridge/Ending:
Well here’s one answer at least,
I couldn’t fit all my thoughts into a single song I like how you connected the very last line with the very first line. Interesting final thought, it has a shread of irony in a song almost completely bombarded with questions.
Overall, I really like the feel of this song, and I hope to read some more of your songs real soon.
Answer:
I agree with you on that, d'you like the edit better?
And, insofar ( ) as the rhyme scheme, every line is supposed to fit with itself, as in question/one, it's really not supposed to rhyme perfectly, only be able to have sort of a 'subliminal' rhyme with itself.
