More Than I Ever Could Know (RC)
Question: It's a worship song, in the style of something you could play at church perhaps. I wrote it all this morning in just a few minutes, after not sleeping all night, but it all came to me easily (which doesn't usually happen). What do you all think of it? I thought that You had the strength to move mountains But still You were stronger I thought You'd give me a lifetime to adore you You still gave me longer And I thought Your love was as great as the Earth Still Your love was greater And I thought I knew Just how faithful and true And how glorious You are, but no Jesus, I am convinced that You love me more than I ever could know I thought my cross would forever pursue me But Lord, You relieved me And I thought my guilt would forever consume me But Lord, You redeemed me And I thought Your love was as great as the Earth Still Your love was greater And I thought I knew Just how faithful and true And how glorious You are, but no Jesus, I am convinced that You love me more than I ever could know Jesus, I am convinced that You love me more than I ever could know Answer: Wow. I really like it, and that says a lot 'cause I'm not usually a big fan of songs written in the modern worship style. In His love, Nate Answer: Holy cracker, that's good. Excellently done. Answer: I'm not a big fan of a lot of modern P & W music either, but I really liked your song. Great job man! Answer: Thanks guys! Do you think it would be better to word it "still you were stronger" like it is, or "you were still stronger?"
