Favorite Resources
Question: What has been your favorite worship leading resource you've used this past year? Answer: The RUF Hymnal Worship Archive CGR's Worship Leading Forum The Cyber Hymnal The Baptist Hymnal The Trinity Hymnal That about sums it up... for the most part. In His love, Nate Answer: I'm surprised this didn't get more input, but alas... My most used resource is Song Discovery, followed by a host of collected hymn resources, including RUF. Other leaders at my church used the Worship Together songbooks quite a bit, though I have not found them as interesting. Answer: I didn't respond because I pretty much just listen to worship CD's, figure out the music on my own and prepare it myself. Although I do use WorshipTogether for their free song. Answer: And, because we are starting an 8:00 a.m. more traditional service, I will probably be using the RUF and other hymnal resources soon. Answer: www./forums www.heartofworship.com (for practical advice etc.) www.jesusfreakhideout.com (for hearing about new CDs) local christian bookshop (for getting new CDs) 'The Source' songbooks the 'Soul Survivor' songbooks thats the main ones, there are other resources i use but these are the ones i use the most God Bless, Rich Answer: Songbase any CD that has a good song on it (lol) Answer: I could not live in a world that did not include Worship Leader's Song Discovery. It allows us to stay very current and learn stuff quickly. The CD gives good suggestions of how the song goes and the lead sheets are good. Yeah, I know... but how many other online worship resources do you know of that even have demos (bad as they may be in most cases at the RUF site)? Seriously, that is one of the greatest parts of the RUF site, in my mind... regardless of how terrible some of the performances are. There's just something about HEARING a new song that helps you figure out whether you're going to be able to use it or not. In His love, Nate Answer: Yeah, I know - it's a great resource. And most of them are pretty good. I guess it was because it was the first one I heard. Christ the Lord is Risen Today. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
