Ok heres my dilemma. When we try to come up with original music. We all sit down with our instruments, drummer, bass, two/three guitars, two singers. How do you write a guitar part with two different guitarists in the room? Does one not play well the other thinks of something? Do you wear headphones? help me.

Got a question first...what style of music do you want to write? The style of music can affect how many parts will go together and still sound alright without overdoing it. Well, the guitarists both have to think alike and have a similar feel for the music. One of them can come up with a chord progression, then the other do some improvisation until he/she comes up with a melody, lead part, or riff to complement the chord progression.
