ahem...sorry....
Sounds cool. Make sure you learn all you can from someone who God has blessed with a huge amount of musical ability.
*edit...if you take offense at my "joke", pm me, don't hijack this thread. thanks.
Answer:
haha...actually, I thought it was funny and enlightening...at the same time!
I've never heard of Scott Cunningham. Can someone fill me in a little?

Pffft. God gave him the potential. He put the effort in. I don't like how people put others on a "blessing pedastal" because of their musical status.
Answer:
So I guess you're saying that I need to step down from my pedestal then.

I actually thought about that before I posted.
I don't think you can deny that God has gifted some more than others with musical ablities, and has done so for reasons He knows, for his glory. And yes, there is a large amount of work that he must have put in as well. I'm not saying God makes everything easy as pie for him (although...have you ever met one of THOSE...those people that can pick up any instrument, play around for 10 minutes, and be better than you at it even though you've been playing it for 5 years?)
I do start rolling my eyes when someone starts saying some worship leader or another is annointed or something like that...who does the annointing...God, or some pastor who likes the guy's music?
Answer:
I've noticed that trend as well. People hear someone with a beautiful voice, or who can play guitar beautifully...they look at them in awe for a while, and then claim that the person has "annointing"...all because they give them chills (although they probably won't say that).
After some thought, I would be inclined to say that in this case, if that person is attracting so much attention to themselves, then they are not annointed to lead worship, at least not at that particular time. I'm inclined to think that when someone is annointed to lead worship, their gaze is upon God and they lead people to gaze upward as well, and lead the people into the presence of God. Giving someone "chills" with your voice, IMO, isn't helping them fix their gaze upward.
Answer:
I think Scott Cunningham is an annointed worship leader. I like him.
Answer:
I don't mean to be rude, but aren't you guys getting a little off subject?
Answer:
Now that I think of it, there really isn't a subject...
