A fire in my bones

Question:
Hi there--first post. Some lyrics of mine, just curious what you all think. The Bible says a lot of things about itself, and these words are develop from those.
Thanks for your input!
A fire in my bones
It’s a fire in my bones, it’s a sword in my heart
It’s a light for my eyes when the road is dark.
It’s the breath of God, it’s a hammer on stone
And it burns me deep—it’s a fire in my bones.
Chorus I will hide Your Word in my heart
Lord take it on down to where it looks real dark
I will hide Your Word
I will hide Your Word
I will hide it in my heart
It builds me up and it tears me down,
Sometimes it picks me up and throws me around.
It’s the jury and judge, it’s the prophet’s call,
It’s a house on a rock that will never fall. (chorus)
It’s the living Word of a holy God,
It’s a lamp for my feet, it’s the Shepherd’s rod.
It’s the breath of God, it’s a hammer on stone,
And it burns me deep—it’s a fire in my bones.

Welcome to the forums!
I like what you've done here, compiling all these phrases about God's Word. I especially like the thread of "fire in my bones" working its way through the entire song. The heart/dark rhymes get to me though, for two reasons: 1. they don't actually rhyme and 2. you use it twice in close proximity. Other than that I really enjoyed this piece.
