Skin Deep
Question: I see him sitting quietly As I walk by I see the look in his eyes He's crying to be seen And he's dying inside And he goes through life Wondering if he'll ever be More than skin deep And he goes through life Wondering if he'll ever be More than what you see I see her standing there As I walk on by She drawing attention to herself She just wants to be loved And she's dying inside And she goes through life Wondering if she'll ever be More than skin deep And she goes through life Wondering if she'll ever be More than what you see I sit here quietly As the crowds walk on by They don't see me And I'm wondering why I even care Why do I care what they think And I'm going through life Wondering if I'll ever be More than skin deep And I'm going through life Wondering if I'll ever be More than what you see Can we go through life Knowing that He can make us More than skin deep Can we go through life knowing that with him We will be More than what they see Do they see You When they see me? More than skin deep Answer: GOOOOOOOOOOOOD JOB!!!! thats so weird I have felt like that before, but not known how to express it, good job Answer: Thank you so much. I wrote it yesterday after comming home from being downtown for a while. I saw so many hurting people and I'm thankful God gave me a song for them!!! Answer: ah, that is cooool! Answer: nicly done. I dont know how it would work as a song (or if it was meant to be a song), just because I cant think of a song-like rythem for it at all, but as poetry its amazing. Im suprised more people didnt comment on this. Very well done. Answer: Thank you!!!! It does sound kinda awkward when read and I can see how you may not be able to see it as a song. I'm going to try to record it this weekend. When I do, I'll post it. Answer: I finally recorded the song!! It's a really crappy recording cause I was forced to use the computers sound recorder I only recorded the first two verses and choruses because it's too long but hopefully you'll get the idea Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
