Childrens worship

Question:
Any good ideas for songs? I've never led worship with 6-10 year olds and I have no idea how things even go if truth be told. I'm guessing/hoping lots of parents are going to be there, but i'm scratching my head about what songs to do.
I've got Our God is a great big God and thats it right now. Help!
Answer:
Don't "dumb it down" for them. Pick stuff with catchy melody lines and good solid messages. Try call and response stuff where you sing something and they sing it back to you like For The Lord Our God Reigns. Repetition is good like Everlasting God. Don't try to be Barney or the Teletubbies. Respect the kids and treat them as big stuff. Kids like to rock too.
Answer:
Here are some that I've used.
Lord I Lift Your Name on High (Teach them the hand motions that go with it, they love it.)
I will call upon the Lord (It's a challenge response song)
I will Worship/You are worthy of my praise. (Another challenge response song)
Every step I take (I can hardly stand it, but the kids love the Naa na nana nana part)
Stir up a hunger (A great little song by Paul Baloche that the kids loved. He has the music and a demo video on his website http://www.leadworship.com
I'm tradng my sorrows. (They love going "Yes Lord Yes Lord, Yes yes Lord)
Like was said. No need for Barney level songs, just go for simplicity and repetetiveness with a somewhat upbeat tempo.
