I want to use that sometime - maybe if we ever talk about missions. it seems to be more or less all our CU talks about so it's pretty appropriate! Answer: Friday night: ----------- Praise the Lord o my soul (one of my songs) - B Let everything that - E Here I am (Majesty) - A King of kings, majesty - A Hi, I don't want to come off critical but it might sound that way, I'll do my best to get the point across without harm. I think you have a serious time concern and if so my coments might be a waste of space. Let everything that has breath does not flow well with majesty. You haven't lead the congragation to the point where they can truly say "here I am humbled by your majesty." Put one more song in between them that gives them a good picture of Jesus and transitions the tempo down. I lay my life down (one way) - A I love that song Are you sure the speaker is not going to have an alter call? this song might be way too fast, even though the message is bang on. The rising sun (Almighty God) - A The splendour of the king (How great is our God) - A O Lord my God (how great Thou art) - A You are God in Heaven - G Let worship be the fuel for missions flame - Am This set I like, slow but common theme. Remeber though you are doing a weekend conference so don't be afraid to play one or two of the same songs more than once. What happens is, it triggers a familliar response to God they felt the night before and often catapults them forward into deeper worship. Answer: Interesting comments, Joe. Maybe we should start a thread about theme and flow.
