It came from a very depressing and sad part in my life. God really pulled me through it, and it was the main reason behind my song. A young man at our church was hit by a drunk driver, while he was mowing his yard two summers ago. He was paralyzed from the waist down. His mom came up to me and told me that she listenened to this song every day for three months. She thanked me for writing it.The young man got a copy of the song, and also listened to it. He was able to rely on God even when his situation seemed hopeless. He is now walking, he's not completely back to normal, but he told me that he's thankful for the song, because he realized what God was to him during that time. I'm just posting it so you can hear it and let me know what you think.... You can hear the song here....... http://www.freewebs.com/gwennylou/index.htm (It may take a few seconds to load) Friend, I call friend You're the light in the darkness The joy that never ends Hope I call you hope You're the reason that I live, The comfort of my soul I love you redeemer and friend I need you from now until the end Nothing in this world compares to you Oh Jesus, I call on you Jesus I call on you Peace, I call you peace You're the everlasting arms The giver of all dreams And Love, I call you love You're the fire in my heart The father up above And I love you redeemer and friend I need you from now until the end Nothing in this world compares to you Oh Jesus, I call on you Jesus I call on you Answer: Anyone? I would really like some feedback on these songs..... Answer: I even have the music to it.....so could someone please respond.... Answer: Lord I Come sounded better than I thought it would, the lyrics don't seem that great, but when you listen to it, it was nice. I thought I Call You had better lyrics, and it sounded great. Good job. Sorry I didn't do a full rc, but I'm not a music expert. Answer: "Lord I Come" is a nice sounding song, but its lyrics really aren't anything new. That can work for Praise and Worship as people like to sing something familiar, but it suffers as a song on its own. "I Call You" is similar. It has great structure and a nice melody, but the lyrics are very similar to a lot of other CCM music. That said, it sounds nice. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
