this works with my AV player anyway!
just slightly pull out youre earphones as(or much as needed)until the music sounds different.
what happens with mine is it makes the singing and most drumming sound in the backround and helps heaps with hard to hear guitar riffs and sorry this usually makes the bass sound quiet so it doesnt work with that
