There wouldn't be so many questions aobut what a "2" chord is if folks just stopped calling things "2" chords, and called them by their real names, sus2 or add9.
Pet peeve of mine.

I don't even know what sus2 or add9 is anyway. I was just naming what it said on the piece of paper. It wasn't my choice to name it that. I'm really not sure what it was supposed to be but all it said was B2

B2 is not a chord...it's a vitamin...but B2 and other 2 chords are constantly misnamed by people writing easy guitar charts.
There is no B2 chord...it's either a Bsus2 or Badd9.
Bsus2 is a chord that replaces the 3rd note in the triad with a 2nd note...it suspends the 3rd for the 2nd although it's commonly the 2nd in the next octave that gets played and not the 2nd from the tonic/root. The 2nd is only a whole step up from the root and playing it with the root causes somewhat unpleasant sounding dissonance.
Badd9 is a chord that maintains the chord triad (1st, 3rd, and 5th) and adds a 9th note (which is a 2nd and octave higher).

That is a b2, neither major or minor. Just curious why the 1 string was muted. If you are are barring the 6th string at the 2nd fret you should also be able to barre the 1st string at the 2nd fret. Just an observation.

Oops. I was reading the tab upside down. Sorry, forget what I said.
