Question:
So I'm up for worship at my church and the topic our youth pastor is speaking about is about having a "focused heart" that is centered around God. Any suggestions?

Don't be afraid of introducing new songs. Granted, sometimes you don't get very good feedback (like when one team in our church introduced Hungry), but you could start something wonderful with a new song. (like the time I introduced God of Wonders to the youth group. They went crazy for that song and whenever we played it, it was an extremely powerful worship moment.
If you're into the whole hymn (traditional or somewhat updated) thing, you could do something like I Need Thee Every Hour. Similar idea to Hungry.
