Worship Set For This Week
Question: So I'm up for worship at my church and the topic our youth pastor is speaking about is about having a "focused heart" that is centered around God. Any suggestions? So far I've picked: Hungry (Falling on my knees) Pour Out My Heart Heart of Worship I need 5 songs so any help is appreciated . Answer: "Center" by Charlie Hall "Give Us Clean Hands" by Charlie Hall Answer: yeah def. +1 for center i'd have to say that is like one of the most simple yet powerful songs you could ever play for that topic def. check that out! Answer: center was actually one of the songs that was on my list, but took off because our youth group hasnt sung that song before, so i figured it would be best to stick with familiar songs. however, i'm def. up for introducing new songs Answer: +"I Give You My Heart" (I think...it's by Reuben Morgan) +"Blessd Be Your Name"-Redman +"Forever" Answer: Give us Clean hands Hungry Forever Everyday? None But Jesus! Jesus Paid it all? Answer: Originally Posted by jrzofclay center was actually one of the songs that was on my list, but took off because our youth group hasnt sung that song before, so i figured it would be best to stick with familiar songs. however, i'm def. up for introducing new songs Don't be afraid of introducing new songs. Granted, sometimes you don't get very good feedback (like when one team in our church introduced Hungry), but you could start something wonderful with a new song. (like the time I introduced God of Wonders to the youth group. They went crazy for that song and whenever we played it, it was an extremely powerful worship moment. If you're into the whole hymn (traditional or somewhat updated) thing, you could do something like I Need Thee Every Hour. Similar idea to Hungry. Answer: "None Like You" would be another good one. Shane and Shane do a cool version of it. "You're Worthy of My Praise" might fit. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
