kutless "take me in". standard tuning please
Question: i play keyboard and sing in a christian coffee house band. i also play guitar better than i play keyboard but i don't play guitar in my band. we have 2.5 other people who do that. i sing lead on some songs and the bass player sings lead on others. vocally i sound just like the guy from kutless. we play "run" from they're first cd and i sing lead on that song. we really like "take me in" from their new worship cd strong tower. i'm afraid that song is in drop d tuning or drop c# tuning or something other than standard and i need it in standard. there's got to be a way in which that song can be played in standard tuning. i've been trying to chord it out for the past week i don't know the intro yet but the chorus doesn't seem right. Verse Em C D Em D x2 Chorus Em D C Am Em C D Em D C D Em Answer: take me in is in drop d so if you want to play it in standard you won't be able to play the intro my tab is on here for this song so check it out or something Intro: if you want just play the verse chords Verse: Gm D Em D Em Chorus: Gm Em D Em Gm D Em that the basic lay out in standard chords: Gm: 244222 D: x00230 Em: 022000 god bless -ryan_grooms22 Answer: we got it today. intro and everything. i don't have the intro with me. but our guitarist figured it out. put a capo on the second fret. Em C D Em D Em D C D Em C D Em D C D Em C D So in actuality F#m D E F#m E F#m E D E F#m D E F#m E D E F#m D E Answer: Hey. For our church retreat last weekend, we decided to do Kutless' "Take Me In." I was given three days to figure out the introduction in standard tuning because I also needed to play the normal chords. Thankfully, I was able to do so. Um, why don't you e-mail me and I'll send you the tab? It's a lot cleaner with Courier New instead of this. ali3nb0i@gmail.com It was funny, though, when the worship leader nodded to me to that the intro, my hands got really sweaty and I pretty much muted every string when I played it. The second time we sang the song..was slightly better. The funny thing is, the Monday after I got back, I sat down, picked up my guitar, and played it flawlessly. This song is really cool. I also have "Strong Tower" if you want that. =) Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
