I Could Sing of Your Love Forever

Question:
Is there actually a version of the song that has that beginning part:
Everywhere I go something something
Everywhere I something I see you
Everywhere something something something
Of when your love came down...
And then the part that everybody knows- "Over the mountains and the sea" blah blah...
And just to clear it up, the chords for the verse G Em C and D, right? And the aforementioned special part and chorus are G Am C D?
Answer:
yes, there is a version like that. i've heard it in a couple of different places.
the first place i heard it was in concert. watermark (back then they were called sons and daughters) was doing a concert with the Robby Seah band. they did that and i was like "SWEET!"
the best cd to hear it on would be the "thirsty" cd that i think passion released like 4 or 5 years ago. nathan and christi knockles (of watermark) are doing it on that cd.
i dont know about you, but i play this song in E. but the chord progression you gave is the accurate progression. it goes G Am C D throughout the verse, chorus, and special part that you mentioned. and its really cool that they are the same progression because you can overlap lyrics with that (i think they do that on the passion cd i mentioned). the only time the progression changes is on the bridge ("oh i feel like dancing...") and thats Am G C D.
Answer:
oh, and the words are this:
"everywhere i go i'll sing it
every breath of air im breathin
every where i go i'll sing of
when your love came down"
Answer:
thats the version that they play at my church
Answer:
hey, what are the chords for that first part? i usually play it in E i think. i play on my bass E, F#, A, B.
Answer:
gigem was discussing that...in E, the set would be E, F#m, A, B, so your bass should be right...
Thanks for your help so far, gigem, the lyrics look about right...now, are you sure about the fact that it would go G, Am, C, D (E, F#m, A, B) for all of the song except the bridge? I thought the verse was G, Em, C, D, while the chorus and special part are G, Am, C, D, or something had some other set while the other two had another set ...
Answer:
You can find both the chords and the lyrics, including the verse you mentioned on the website http://www.seekthelord.com/PraiseMus...OVEFOREVER.htm
Enjoy
Answer:
Ah, nice, nice...maybe you could help me with this now, then...do you know what version of the MP3 (artist, size, etc.) actually has that part? I downloaded like 30 versions yesterday, and most of them were the same thing, and all of them didn't have it

at least the way i mentioned was how i have always played it and seen it played
Answer:
Yeah, I tried it out, and I could just play like that forever, it seems
Anybody have an answer to my other question? Come on, I know at least one of you has an MP3 of this...
Answer:
I don't know if it's this band you're looking for, but Sagemont college praise band (http://www.sagemontchurch.org/College/index.htm) is playing the song. Hope you can use it.

That progression is partially correct there... There should actually be an inversion where the G is... G/B to precise... But, it depends... if you're a perfectionist like me, you'll play the inversion... Also, if the bass is still going, there's no real need to play the inversion, but I do it anyway
So, yeah, big church does it in G and I like to do it in E... Go figure...

Thanks for the help, but somebody already found that version that I wanted, which you also offered, hansen...
I'm looking for the actual song file...I've already checked out around 30 versions (via Kazaa) and none of them had the "Everywhere I go..." part...

In the song, "I could sing of your love forever" th ere is one version of the song that has a interlude with lyrics something like this: "everywhere I go I'm singing, Every breath I take I'm breathing, and everything I do I'll sing of when your love came down" or something like that. If anyone could help me out and tell me who sings that version and give me the chords for that interlude I would appreciate it so much. I want to do it with my praise band on Wed. night and it's already monday and I"m not having any luck. I appreciate any help!
