An old favorite...

Question:
Has anybody got the chords or even the lyric for an old Living Waters piece, "The Ballad of Luke Warm?" It starts off like, "You'll find my name in the telephone listing/My credit is better than fair./ My daughter is running for sophomore princess,/I'm making my son cut his hair.
If anybody's got it, could you let me know at jno17.3@sympatico.ca? Thanks, and the Lord's best on all of ya!!
Robert
Answer:
Here's the words, as I remember them:
BALLAD OF THE LUKEWARM
You'll find my name in the telephone listings
My credit is better than fair.
My daughter is runnin' for sophomore princess
I'm makin' my son cut his hair.
I never miss votin' or church every Sunday
I do what I can to support;
The church and the state will be satisfied one day
And then I can give to the poor.
My mother is happy, we found her a home
With folks of her status and age;
She gave us the family Bible last year;
And we'll keep it in the attic 'till the pages turn yellow
'Cause antiques are quite the rage.
(Scat)
My mortgage is paid on my Chevrolet
I seldom ever beat my wife.
I can't understand why my name isn't there
Written in Your Book of Life. (abrupt cut to silence)
