Mercy Me - I can Only Imagine Chords/Tabs
Question: I am lQQking for the acoustic version; not the one with the piano intro. I have the song in mp3 if u want to hear what it sounds like. Answer: Could you put a link up for the song? Or email me at bmphan at hotmail dot com (the weird format is to prevent the automated email harvesters from sending me junk mail!). Answer: i know that it's tuned to DADGAD, but other than that, i have no idea. Answer: I usually just play D G for the verses and then G A D for the chorus and then you would have to use a Bm near where it breaks to the end of the song.............try that.....even though the tuning is different you really dont have to do that.....just play that right there.....it sounds good........if you need any other MercyMe song....let me know...Ive just got pretty much everthing that have on cd...even a few stuff from Pleased To Meet You if ya know about that....... P.S...Elijah..dude...I am like 45 miles from your city...I live in Hamlin...thats crazy...I go to Abilene like every week....awesome.... Answer: seriously though, that version of I Can Only Imagine sounds REALLY REALLY good...i sure wish someone out there could tab it out i would be super grateful and so will many others~ Answer: I have never heard that version! Wow, maybe there is someway you could tab that out. Are you sure that is DADGAD? If it is, it shouldn't be that hard to tab out. Answer: I removed the mp3 file because I can't upload mp3 files on this site. However, if someone is interested in hearing a clip or the entire song in mp3 file, you may email me at Stealth3si@yahoo.com Answer: I tuned my guitar to DADGAD, and I tried to play along with it. I mainly played around the 5-9 fret, holding the 050700 strings. I tried to mix it up, but it didn't sound right. Anyone want to give this a shot. Edit: Okay, I found out I was wrong...and the DADGAD is not needed. Just play your D xx0232, and on the 'e' string, where you are holding the second fret, lift it up, and see if that makes a sound pretty close to the one in the song. Strum the normal D, then lift the finger up, and see. Then I play G 320033, then I lift the 000033 fingers up, leaving 320000 for the G... With the A, try 002233, or something like that, and lift the 000033 fingers up. It sounds pretty cool... Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
