I was looking up guitar tabs for thousand foot krutch and they have xxxx, h, p writtin on the tabs and i was wondering what they meant. If someone could tell me what they mean i would be super duper happy.

An "x" means to mute that string, and not let it sound out, or just not play it at all. "H" is hammer-on. "P" is pull-off. If you need help with the items, try posting in Theory And Technique.

The xxxx means those strings are mute with your fret hand and strummed for a percussion type sound. h is a hammer on. p is a pull off. if that helps cool if you need more indepth help let me know.
