Answer:
What are some of the lyrics of 'Come to the Water'?
Answer:
lol, I only know the tune. It's imbedded in my brain but I can't for the life of me remember the words.
Answer:
By any chance, would it be something like:
And Jesus said, "Come to the water, stand by my side.
I know you are thirsty - you won't be denied.
I felt every tear drop when in darkness you cried
And I strove to remind you that for those tears I died."
Answer:
Yeah, that song is also called come to the water, but that's not the one I am thinking of. lol. same exact title though.
Answer:
Are the words
Oh, let all who thirst,
Let them come to the water.
And let all who have nothing,
Let them come to the Lord,
Without money, without price,
Why should you pay the price,
Except for the Lord?
And let all who thirst,
Let them come to the water
And let all who have nothing,
Let them come to the Lord
Without money, without strife,
Why should you spend your life,
Except for the Lord?
2 more verses, very similar.
Let me know if this is it. This song is from the Glory and Praise hymnal published by OCP music.
Hope this helps!

What is the title of this song? Please!
Answer:
Give me some more specific titles and I'll see what I can do for you :) I'm going to school in Montreal, Canada, so all I have are the Canadian hymn books, but since I live at my church I'll see if I can sneak in and make photocopies of guitar parts to any songs that you name that are in the canuckistani Catholic hymnals.
BTW, cool you're from Tacoma/Olympia! I'm from Issaquah but I have family in Lakewood so I'm down in that area fairly often. What church do you go to? I go to St. Barbara's parish in Black Diamond.

Answer:
ahahaha I remember why I remembered "come to the water"...we sing it at my home church only we take it so painfully slow that basically NO ONE can hold the held notes long enough. I mean, I realize it's supposed to be a slower song, but no need to make it a funeral dirge.
Sorry, just had to express my own private amusement. I'm working on getting the chords for this, I swear! It ain't in the Canadian hymals that we have here because it's a fairly recent hymn, but I can get it to you once I get back to Seattle. I play harp at my church so I have access to the guitar/piano music for all the hymns.

Oops - sorry.
Answer:
Our Catholic church uses the "Glory and Praise" songbooks. They have the chords in the musician's edition. I use it when I play bass in youth mass.
