Need help with the verses of Glory Defined
Question: Hey all, As this is my first post, let me introduce myself. My name is Kip Arnold (Aka: Grayfriar)some older tabbers may remember me from (Rockin The Cross' Free Site) RTC as Godsgtrst (read: God's Guitarist). Haven't tabbed much of anything in a blue gazillion moons and was having trouble with the verse sections on B429's Glory Defined. The current tab on this site, just says to arpeggiate an Ab/C Db etc... but it sounds to me more like a riff?! Any ideas? Anyone? Help an old Tabber out! Later, K. Answer: I tabbed it and it's up on my site: http://www.geocities.com/ggtabs07 It isn't perfect but give it a try and maybe you'll like what I came up with. -Gary Answer: Originally Posted by IncuThrice07 I tabbed it and it's up on my site: http://www.geocities.com/ggtabs07 It isn't perfect but give it a try and maybe you'll like what I came up with. -Gary Gary, thanks I had actually seen that one and you're REAL close! C#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------| A#|------3--------------3----------------------------------------------------| F#|----2---2----------2---2--------------------------------------------------| C#|4h5-------5~---4h5-------5~--2--2-2--2--4~--2/5-4~------------------------| G#|-----------------------------4--4-4--4--5~--4/7-5~------------------------| C#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------| Not real sure about the hammer on part though...could it be : C#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------| A#|----3---2------------------------------------------------------------------| F#|----2---2--2--------------------------------------------------------------| C#|2h4--------4------------------------------------------------------------| G#|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| C#|--------------------------------------------------------------------------| could be anything I guess! The frustrating part is the tuning! Atleast for a "one - guitar" guy like me! Thanks again for the reply! Gray~ Answer: You're very welcome. It took me a while to figure that verse out and I don't know if yours is right or mine but I kinda just looked at the what the chords would be if you played standard chords and then figured it out. Like, the first verse chord is a G so when messing around with a G chord, I figured out the 4-5 hammer on because that would entail the root being G instead of what you have as an F# which has a weird dissonance when you play the 2-4 hammer on. But yeah, either of them could be correct and whatever sounds best to you...just go with it! -Gary Answer: Originally Posted by GrayFriar could be anything I guess!
