"Let the Wind Blow" -- Imperials/Dan Huff

Question:
(note: I checked tab archives first; no joy.)
1. For years -- make that a lotta years -- I've been looking for tablature for guitarist Dann Huff's outstanding intro riff and accents to "Let the Wind Blow," the single by the Imperials from the album of the same name and one of my top few contemporary Christian songs.
2. While this is my first time in this forum, this is my annual shot-in-the-dark request to anyone, anywhere who may have this music at hand. "Let the Wind Blow" was the MYRRH/WORD winner for 1985. The quartet (often a quintet) has featured some 18 voices over (gasp) 42 recordings and 40 years of gospel music but still puts out the good word, but IMO, "Let the Wind Blow" is the most haunting Christian rock song I've ever heard, thanks in large measure to Dann Huff on guitar. I heard the composition recently and, like all good songs, it more than stands the test of time.
3. Huff is one of those amazing, accomplished and in-demand studio guitarists who has played for many pop, jazz, ****ry and Christian greats.

THanks!

Answer:
I share your frustration. I, too, have listened to this song for years on an old tape and longed to see the music for it, but have never found it on the internet or in any Imperials musicbook that I have seen.
It is a fantastic song, and I'm surprised it's not more well-known. I believe the haunting aura comes from it being composed in ABA form, much like Sting/The Police's Every Breath You Take, not to mention the mellow lyrics.
Apart from the piece of trivia above, I do not have any classical training in music, and my guitar skills are so limited that I can only listen in admiration. Here's hoping someone out there will lend their ears or resources to tabbing a great song so a new generation may enjoy it.
