Need a little help....
Question: I don't know if this is the right place to do this, but I need some help. I need to find some fun easy sing along type songs to play for my youth meets. I have some songs, like "Lord I lift your name on high" and "River of life," but i need some new ones. Please help... Answer: Well, there's Pharoah, Pharoah done to the tune of Louie, Louie. Jesus is the Rock And He Rolled My Blues Away (Bop Shu Bop Shu Bop Woo!) Are you looking for suggestions or words and chords? If you have never heard the song it will be hard to convey it back to you, but if you have some titles that you know the tunes and you just need chords for I might can help by digging into my "Retired" file. What I realy need the name of some songs so I can find the chords or tabs on the net, or get a CD with the song on it so I can figure out the chords. Thanks for the help! Answer: Well here's some names off the top of my head. Most I have not done in years so I'm not even sure if I still have the chords - If I find them I'll let you know - but at least this might help you find them and they are all in that "River Of Life" vein IMO and most all have motions. I'm not sure if all are the "actual" names but they are the names I always knew them as: If I think of more I'll let you know. Answer: BTW - Anytime you can do a parody -they can always be fun - For instance, We use to have a lot of fun with the Beach Boy's "California Girls" like this: OK, Maybe not for your typical church service - but you get the idea. Take a song they'll know and have some fun with it Answer: Thanks! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
