Job interview
Question: Ok, so I have a group interview for a job at the cinemas next week. Is there anything I should note? Answer: Dress professionally. Now, this doesn't have to be a suit and tie deal since it's just the cinemas, but it should be something nice i.e. collared shirt / tucked in, etc. Be yourself. Don't say you know something if you don't know something because it'll just make you look stupid. Honesty is appreciated. It might be a good idea to start thinking of some questions that the interviewer(s) might ask, and having some answers worked out for them, for example: Why do you want to work here? Obviously don't obsess over this, but a little preparation can go a long way. Good luck. Answer: Just to add to the honesty, anything you say on your resume, application, or during your interview that is not true can be taken as grounds for termination. So don't lie. And there is one point where they will usually ask you if you have any questions. (Likely at the end of the interview). No is not a good response. If it hasn't been run over in detail, ask what your duties will be. You could ask whether your schedule changes on a weekly/monthly basis or if it's permanent. Or even if you'll be getting paid on a weekly or biweekly basis. Don't just flat out ask things like "How much do I get?" "What do I gotta do?" They won't be too impressed with you then.
