I'm pretty sure God wants to use my musical talents for him, and ight now im in a "christian" screamo band (Underoath, Subseven, Kids in the way). The music gets old in my opinion, and I;m not sure God wants me in this band. The other guys in it don't act very christian all the time either. Only one em do i consider a christian. I feel like we could actully go somewhere with this band also, but if God dosnt want me to do this than I don't want to. My heart really lies in praise and worship music, and acoustic stuff, and rock. Not screamin and death metal chords and solos. I like playin it sometimes I guess, but to make a carear out of it is stupid..unless I'm supposed to. Please gimme some feedback, I really appreciate it. God Bless.

I've been playing in bands for about 5 years now, and as soon as it stops being fun, stop being in the band.
Otherwise it might put you off music altogether for a bit.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I might talk to the band sometime. I can't imagine putting off music anytime in my life, as God has blessed the world with the most amazing thing ever

I would definitely pray about it. Then maybe talk to the guys and ask them about if they really want to be a Christian band or not. If they don't, break away from them. I they do then tell them they need to fix their actions.

Well you've really answered your own question. If your heart's not in it, and your heart wants to serve God, then God's obviously not calling you to this sort of service. Quit the band and go to where you know God wants you to serve - praise/worship.
