I say this because as godly men, we are supposed to be the leaders in marriage. If the guy doesn't take initiative in a romantic relationship in the beginning, he is setting the entire relationship up for problems. The girl gets used to being the one making the decisions, while the guy sits back and figures everythings fine 'cause things are being taken care of. I've seen this sort of relationship with my parents. It is not cool.
Anyways, so I know some guys who think that when their supposed to start a relationship with a girl, God will just put the girl right in front of them big signs saying "I'm the one!" Granted, that was exagerated, but the idea is portrayed effectively.
All I'm saying is that as godly men, we need to be ready to take the initiative in relationships.
