Question:
I have a friend who is turning a bit weird. lets call him X.
X seems to be going out with and flirting with every gal he meets! OK, its not stricktly true, but whenever I'm at the youth club he snaps into a sort of 'impress mode'. For instance I would be telling someone a joke, or a story, or something and then whenever i come to a crucial point or a puchline, X would just butt in and top or one up my point.
her is how it would go...
me: ...and then he had an Ice cream an-
X: Oh I had a massive Ice cream with bits of chocolate and tofee and it was so nice! it was this big!!! *gestures with hands*
me: yes. as I was saying...
X: but you sould have seen it, man!
Thats just an example of what would happen. If you were there to see his body language, he was trying to be domenint (sp) and grab all of the attention for himself! another thing he would do to me is if we were standing talking so some random female, he would do this thing where he would put me in a standing up headlock and say something like 'best buddies' or 'come here brother'.
Not only does it hurt me, it also makes him look bigger than he really is! and this is the bit which I really dispise. It works!!! the ladies go after him like he's their only source of oxygin! as you can imagen, this is really annoying and I tell him about all the stuff above, saying that it hurts my feelings by making me left out, and that every other male friend he has doesn't like it either. I've told him that while hes out chasing grls, the rest of us are just getting annoyed. But he doesn't heed my warnings, and soner or later he will be left freindless.
But I guess people like him will always have pals.
my question is- what will i do? He is my best friend and only behaves like that when the opposet gender are present.

let me tell you something if he is flirting with every girl he might not know he is and he might just be trying to be nice. I know girls think I like them but its like nope I am just a gentlemen or is he really flirty like you can tell he is trying to flirt?
