Med Schools

Question:
Does anyone know of any med schools in a country like Canada, US, Australia, NZ or Western Europe that accept students coming out of only two years of undergrad?
Answer:
Getting into med school without a college degree? I seriously doubt it. Considering how competitive med school admissions are, you'd have to have something very, very special to offer to compensate for your lack of a degree.
(Can you even take the GRE without having an undergrad degree?)

Well over here, you can do undergrad medicine, but only at a few unis!
I think Uni of Sydney does undergrad but Im not sure.
I know ANU (www.anu.edu.au), Uni of Newcastle, Uni of Adelaide (maybe), do medicine, but some are undergrad and some are postgrad.
Check them out, they might have info on their websites. (google for them).
Answer:
In Canada you can typically apply to med school after three years of any undergrad (from science to music) and there are some that have been known to accept after 2.

Very good. I can't say this with certainty, but I believe you have to have an undergraduate degree to attend a U.S. medical school.
Answer:
You can do an undergraduate medicine degree at a lot of british universities, I know that Nottingham, Cardiff and Birmingham all do good courses.

Thanks. How many years do you have to do to get into those programs? Also, do you come out as an MD/physician when you are done?
Answer:
I'm not quite sure what you mean as I don't understand these crazy foreign education systems!
You generally start after college (age 18ish) then it is 3 years to get a medicine degree and another 2 years to qualify as a doctor. I think thats how it works anyway!
you can also to a postgraduate medicine course which is 4 years but i think you have to have completed a degree course (in any subject) beforehand.
I hope that is helpful!
God Bless, Rich
Answer:
In the US it's generally four years of undergrad (three if you are in some sort of accelerated program already for a med school), four years of medical school, and then about two years of residency.
