faith
Question: I just wonder how people have so much faith. I believe in God and that he has the ability to do miracles and that he has a plan for everyone and all that stuff. But I want to know how you have so much faith to just let everything go and put your life in Gods hands. How are you supposed to give up everything that you want and hand it all to God? Answer: Matthew 6 Answer: I know where you're coming from. There have been many times I've struggled with myself. I knew I could trust God, but certainly didn't feel like I had the faith to walk in His power. I then realized that I'd never be able to "step out in faith" until I had stepped out without the feeling of faith. I don't mean stepping out by myself, I just mean doing it when I didn't "feel" God. The last 2 or 3 weeks, I've seen God really move as I've stepped out. I've had the opportunity to witness to 3 people and pray for a sick unsaved person. It's by God's grace that I'm able to do this, and as I do He builds up my faith. Answer: I just wonder how people have so much faith. As Jesus said in the gospel of JOhn "if you do then you shall know..." You will never "walk on water" till you witrh all your uncertainties get out of the boat and do it!!! Answer: After many failed attempts of me trying to do things on my own, my own way and with out God, I have just learned over time to just let God have all of me, to do whatever he wants with me, and let God do his thing in my life. He knows what is best for me. I trust that whatever he will's will be in my life as long as I am seeking him. Theres times I get into sticky situations and I dont know what's going to happen next, I get all stressed and cry out to God help me!!!! And then really I worried all for nothing cause God has never failed me, not once, he always provides, he always makes away out. Now when things get tough, I just wait to see what He's going to do next. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
