Clueless

Question:
You fellows probably hear this alot, but I seriously have no idea what I want to be at all, career-wise. College is a given - one that's near home, affordable, and offers me a scholarship (fingers and toes crossed, people) I mean, I play guitar, kinda' like foreign languages, and have a faint familiarity with computers. I once felt God was calling me into the ministry, but I'm now not so sure. Anyone out there have this same trouble? When did you actually establish your major? What made you decide? Tons of questions. Do your stuff!
Daniel
P.S. Anyone who read my band trouble thread knows - I would love to know what it's like to play in a band that, oh nothing that picky, SOUNDS GOOD! Now there's a career.

Well, I am still not entirely sure what I really want to be. But I am heading in a direction that won't limit me to just one thing. I am looking onto all the possibilities. I have about a year before I really have to choose a direction.

What is really humorus is, I used to hate school too the highest degree possible. Now I am considering all of the possibilities. That is my advice.
Answer:
It's really late here but I will reply asap tomorrow.
Answer:
I have to clue what I want to be when I 'grow up' and personally, I don't think that there are many people who do. Right now I am in college to become a MOA.. but I know I won't stick with that for the rest of my life. I don't even know if I will stick in the medical field. I plan on staying with the MOA thing until most of my loan is paid off and then who knows what I will do.. you don't have to make up your mind today.. you have your whole life! Don't limit yourself..!
Peace and love,
Rhonda.
Answer:
Daniel,
How are you at math? My guess is you find it boring, but do very well for the amount of effort you apply. If so, think about CS or linguistics. They are much closer than you think (in an abstract sense).
Answer:
I'm going through the same problem but this is my solution.
Find what you really like to do/are really good at and learn what careers are related to that. If it's artistic then you probably have to get another job to pay the bill but never sacrifice the career for the job.
Example. I played drums in a good regional level band for 3 years (been playing 14 total). I got turned on to audio recording so I started buying equipment. Then I got turned on to video production so I took a class and bought equipment. I did really well in the class and bought more equipment. The professor recommended me to a couple of other students who want to make a movie. Now I associate produce and am the audio director for an independent "made for TV" movie. I'm still not getting paid for this though So I work for my dad or anyother increadably flexable job to make money... but if the job gets in the way of music, movie, or school I quit the next day. Usually because employers upon hiring will say "no mandatory overtime" and my first weekend schedule mandatory overtime :P Granted I'm 25 and living with my parents again... but I do finish my associates degree next week and my first major casting call is the 25th
Answer:
