Ok, I can't stop thinking about my english teacher, I want to be around him all the time and I love hearing him talk to me. I work so hard on the papers I turn into him, just so he tells me how impressed he is with my work. Everytime I see his car or even one that looks like his, my heart starts beating and my stomach leaps. I always look for him when I am out in town. I don't want to think about him anymore, like that, and I don't know how, any thoughts?

Fact is, you are a teenager. Your hormones are raging wild. It's not uncommon for something like this to happen. It's your responsibility to forget about it, if you know what I mean. Just ignore the feelings you have when you are around him. Stuff like that. It's very silly (not to mention illegal) for you to entertain thoughts of having a crush on your teacher. So you need to ignore it, and it will be gone by the end of next month, at the latest.

Why is it always an English teacher? I had a crush on my Grade 12 English teacher (and my Grade 10 English teacher, now that I think about it. As well as my Grade 9 Science teacher, and my Grade 10 Math teacher), but when you step back an look at the situation, beyond the age factor, there is a major conflict of interest question. A relationship would be just plain wrong, because it betrays the trust that your parents place in your teachers. Having said that, you have to clamp down, choose to ignore how you feel, and not dwell on it. You'll eventually get over it, but until then, just don't go there.

Give guys a break. I found these in just a second. You are going to get yourself majorly hurt if you keep down the path you are going. You need to realize you are far too immature for a relationship right now. That is the simple fact looking through past posts of yours I see a very unhealthy tendency to chase older guys.

It's hard when you have a crush on an older guy, esecially those that are authority figures. But you must realize that this is just a crush. It can never be anything more. The feelings are very normal to have for a girl your age, but you have to let them go.

You asked for a way to stop thinking about him. Try entertaining your mind on other things. Focus on God, (pray about what he wants with yout life) focus on a hobby, family, and friends.

Everytime you DO find yourself thinking about him, pray. Ask God to help you focus on Him, not your teacher. Look to God for happiness and fulfillment and anything else you're looking for in your teacher.

its just i know nothing can happen between me and him and i except it, but i, i dont know, it is just i like older guys for some weird reason and i might be too imature, but i know what i like, last year i had the biggest crush on my band teacher, but we moved and the last time i saw him, he was in the hospital getting his appendex removed and we still talk, but he is more like my best friend then a teacher or a crush, cause i got over him, it is just, i didnt get over him until after i moved, so it is hard, i mean im in his class every other day, so i dont know what to do but thanks for the advice,

It'll be a bit rough but you're going to have to force yourself to put the thoughts out of your head until the end of the year or semester or both or whatever your school goes by. After that, when you aren't in such contact with him it should be easier to forget about. And pleasem try to put guys off for a few years and put God where they are. Concentrate on Him. He'll give you the right guy when you're ready.
