I did things right this time; we met eachothers parents and all that jazz before we started dateing. Two weeks go by and she says she isn't ready for this. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! W e still talk and all... its just not the same . do you think i still have a chance with her??? (girls) "I'm not ready."- what does she mean????? Answer: Originally Posted by rockstar0173 "I'm not ready."- what does she mean????? possibly that she's not ready. I see that you're currently fifteen years old by your profile. And according to your post, you seem to believe she was the girl you'd spend the rest of your life with. Please in all honesty, can you really say that you were expecting to find your future bride at fifteen? I would suggest you take on the same mindset as her and wait for a while. Continue to grow in your friendship with her. Maybe a few years down the line you'll come to this type of point again, and maybe not. If you do, you've got a solid foundation to your future in friendship if not, then you've avoided the confusion and heartache of breaking up (and trust me, it would be tenfold to anything you're feeling now) which would be almost inevitable if you start your romantic relationship now. Answer: I went out with a girl (my first girlfriend incidentally) when we were 16, we were together for about 3-4 weeks then she broke up with me saying that she didn't think it was working. We stayed friends and then about a year later started dating again, 4 years on we are now engaged my advice, stay friends and get to know each other really well without the pressure of 'dating'. if you do get back together then awesome, if you don't then you have made(/kept) a good friend. God bless, Rich Answer: Originally Posted by rockstar0173 "I'm not ready."- what does she mean????? I'm with Chris; I think she means that she's not ready. Respect her decision. Answer: Since you asked for the girls' opinions... Do you still have a chance? Can't rightly say. What does she mean? Can't rightly say. My guess would be that she just isn't ready. However, in my opinion it would not be out of line for you to ask her for clarification. Don't ask her if she thinks you two still have a chance, though. Just ask her what exactly she means and why she did the breaking up. If the only reason is that she isn't ready, then she'll say so. If you ask her and she doesn't want to answer because she "doesn't want to hurt your feelings" then there is probably more to it than her just not being ready. (Then it's up to you whether you really want to hear the reasons or not.) Like I said, though, it sounds to me like she truly just isn't ready. Feel free to ask her what she means. Answer: I am no expert on these things, but when girls say they need some time, its always best to give it to them. There is nothing biblical here except trying to fathom the complexities of a woman (this is a good thing btw ) Guys are generally more impulsive and act faster on their gut feelings, but girls generally think through things. This would also be a good time to start practising patience as not everything you want in life would come to you immiediately. Patience is also very important in any realationship as you will come to learn. Give her some time and if she is ready she will come around Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
