how do you comfort someone going through a tough situation?
Answer:
that does tend to deend on the situation. Without a lot of specifics I'd say, lend them an ear whenever they need it, help them out with stuff like any large chores they have to do. Just an all encompassing be there for them type of deal.

yeah like what Chris said... just be there... you don't have to say anything... sometimes all they need is someone to listen... it can even be destructive to say anything preachy or spiritual y'know? (ex. job's "awesome" friends)
and be patient.. sometimes they can be a little cranky because they're in pain... so even though they can be really irritating to the point that you wanna just give up on them.. don't... just be loving and patient and caring
