I say of my wife, "Well, the beatings have stopped so that's nice."
That is in no way meant to offend those of you that have been abused as that is a serious matter. And I would never say that in front of someone who I knew was abused, or was going through it. It is humourous in the context of my wife because she weighs 90 lbs, and is a very sweet woman.

We've only been married 6 months and I've probaby heard the phrase "how's married life treating you?" over a thousand times and half that amount by the same people lol. I mean seriously, you can only answer that question so much and anyway what do they expect you to say lol "It stinks, we're getting a divorce."

O gosh and the pregnant thing, it never fails if I'm not feeling well the first thing someone says to me is "O do you think you're pregnant?". In fact the other day a woman from my husband's old church called and he said he was laying in bed with me because I was sick and she automatically said "oooo is she pregnant!?!" LOL my husband was like "O no we're not ready for that yet."

I don't have any good answers lol, mostly we just laugh about it and them married life is great and no I'm not pregnant lol.
