Hello,

My name is Grayson Hein, I am 14 and am highly interested in your school, I have gone through some things, and I have been in and out of different schools, I was living in Mexico for a little with my mom and then to Colorado and now I am back in Mexico, I am really not doing that good in Mexico and I think it is mainly my home and parents situation, I seem to worry about things a lot and all I have ever wanted in my life is for a loving family, born and raised in Colorado up until i moved to Mexico in 2000 I had behavioral issues, I moved to Mexico and had some problems with my mother, my dad then toke me back in to his hands in Colorado, I don't know what happened but I got involved in some bad things, I started hanging out with the wrong kids, and everything just went downhill from there... I started seeing a psychiatrist, he said that i should move back to Mexico with my mom, My parents decided to do that... About a week before I was planning to move back to Mexico is when i found Jesus as my savior, I have been reading my bible, talking to Jesus and basically want to live my life for him! The thing is, my Transcript and School Records mite not be so good... I am currently in a home school program and I have been doing good work since i started, I have the potential, but whenever i start to think about school, a lot of the times, my mind will wander off to one of my problems or something... My parents are not Christian and I don't have any other Christian friends besides Jesus anywhere close to me that I could talk with, I want to go to Oakdale because I would like to be in a Christian environment where i can grow in my faith and learn more about our Lord, I think I mite want to be a Youth Pastor or something, It makes me happy when other people are happy, its something I like to try and do, (make people happy) I remember me sitting in youth group 2 years ago goofing off during praise, I remember i went because my friends did, I want to help spread the word of God as i get older, So I can help kids that will be like I was...

My main question is am i going to have problems getting in due to the above facts?

Now, i was just wandering if anybody has been 2 a boarding school or anything.... like, suggestions, comments anything, and about the letter i know there are grammatical errors, i have fixed them and sent the letter and got a response... here is the respons

Non of the things you mentioned would keep you from being accepted at
Oakdale. You need to download an application and fill it out and send it
in. Also, how do your parents feel about you coming to Oakdale? They would
have to want it too.


Im thinking it maybe Gods will for me 2 go, plz help me with some thoughts and stuff

I think you were a little to personal, if this is a letter that you mail to them with all of the things that would help you get into the school. At this point they aren't looking for special cases, they are looking for special interests or special talents. Are you good at any sports, academics, music, any thing of that sort. Are you looking forward to doing anything special with this education. I would also go through and edit this letter, it needs it. Things like
( I am really not doing that good in Mexico...). It should be ( I am really not doing that well in Mexico...). Just a few suggestions that will hopefully help you. Good luck***
