Growing up and changing?

Question:
I have heard a lot of people say that guys continue to change a lot until they are like 25, or at least for some people. I wanted to hear from some others about what they felt and how they changed during that 18-25 year period, cause I feel like I have been changing so much over the last like 6 months or a year. I am trying to figure out who I am and where I fit into everything. So did you guys handle it, and how did you come out differently? What positive things came out of that potentially difficult time?
Answer:
A guy changes a lot until he's 25 and then not so much? I say that's bogus.
You will always be changing regardless of the age you are. Sometimes the growth spurts might be greater than others, but I really don't believe we can stay exactly the same.
As far as handling it goes, all I can tell you is to hang onto God with all your might. As it is with everyone, we all will go through really tough and confusing times. How we deal with those times is a testament to our character and growth. Ideally we learn to better deal with them as time goes by.
Lets look at what the Bible says:
Romans 5:3-4 (New International Version)
3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Answer:
In the 17-21 period, I had massive changes. I went from someone who had a host of bad attitudes, was engaging in illegal activities, getting drunk routinely, partying, etc. By the grace of God, here I stand 8 years since. Now from 21-25 for me it was a lot slower, but then, I was totally on my own and was not having as bizarre of adventures, was not having as direct of confrontations with horrible things, and I had no need to grow and change at such a rapid rate.
I think during those years you may need to grow up a lot. Some people mature quickly, and some never do. All of our experiences will be different. You learn. Part of the key is never getting to maturity fully. Some people reach a point and are content with what they know and who they are. That is not real great in my opinion as we should strive to excell.
However, oddly, I have physically started to grow since last year after a hiatus since I was 16. Thats just there for fun.
Answer:
I also 18 and have changed a lot in the last couple of years, but the last couple of months I think I've been kinda stable, don't know how much I'll change by the time i'm 25, alot or a little, no idea.
Answer:
it's kinda been wierd. The maturity part, I love, and I wish that would happen faster and even more. But not everything is like that. I feel like even the day to day things that I like are changing, and the feelings I have about things and blah blah blah
