Re-newing Vows
Question: Heres the story. Three years ago, my wife and I were married in the local courthouse with only my brother and sister-in-law in attendance. We were both college freshman and waited a few months to even tell her family we were married. (they used to really NOT Like me). Anyways, it is three years later....they like me alright now and we are about to graduate from college. Our respective families will both be flying in...and my wife would like to have a 'real' wedding celebration where the whole family can celebrate our four years down...rest of our life to go. We really want to do this...while we are stilll young...and all of our parents and grandparents are still alive, this seems like the perfect time...since they will all be here anyways. Anyways, just looking for peoples opinion on what they think about the situation. Thanks. Answer: sounds like an excellent idea. Answer: It's much like what we plan to do, so I certainly think that it sounds cool. Answer: IMO. weddings are more for everybody else, rather than for yourself. If it will make them happy, then do it! Answer: Originally Posted by RipVanWinkle IMO. weddings are more for everybody else, rather than for yourself. ...Until you don't have one.
