God's will or scare tatic?

Question:
Decisions...
Ever wonder if a decision you have to make is going to be for God's will or Satan's? In Oswalt Chamber's book, "My Utmost for His Higest" Chambers talks about how often we, Christians, are quick to jump from situation to situation based on which is easiest for us. We judge which way the wind is blowing and as long as it's easy we must be at the center God's will. Chambers concludes that God's will isn't safe and often isn't the easy decision.
So what does all of this mean to me?
I just finished filling my appeal with Bethel University finacial aid since I am not recieving finaical support from my family I concluded that they couldn't use my parents tax information because I'm not recieving support from them in that regard. I was turned down and recieved no extra money for college.
Along with God's will not being safe, I've learned that the enemy often uses our greatest fears against us in an attempt to lead us in the wrong direction. The devil knows one of my biggest fears is failure in school and being in debt. It's probably the greatest weapon he could use against me.
So my questions now is, With all this difficulty, is it God's will for me to stay at Bethel? or go elsewhere? $22,000 in loans is a lot of money. If he wants me to stay how will I know? He's has seemed rather silent lately and it's hard. I want to do God's will but if it's God's will for me is to stay here I will but I need to know that's what he wants. I don't want to act on a scare tatic from the devil, if that's what this is.
I've been praying about it a lot. And if you guys could pray for me as well that would be great. Any advice you'd be willing to give would be great.
Answer:
I don't really think that God has some elusive will for your college choice that if you fail to follow you will be miserable. I believe God has given you reason and I think you can persue God's will with either choice you make. Pray about it, yes, but in the end you need to make an intellegent choice after weighing the risks, benefits, and what it is you want to do.
This may not be the type of answer you were looking for though.
Answer:
thanks for the imput, anybody else?
Answer:
I think Insane Drummer gave some sound advice! God gave us a brain and expects us to use it. Guide your decision using Biblical principles and go for it. Oh, pray like he said too....
