try lotions and soaking in warm salty water. my aunt is a doc, but she says stuff like that works. why? well, i have no idea.

I get lots of them. I have extremely coarse facial hair. I get them on my arms, back and legs occasionally, but pluck the whole hair. It may reingrow. Sometimes I have had to break the skin to get them out, but trust me on this, you don't want them to be left alone too long. I have had ones that looped around and went through the skin for more than an inch. Eventually you have to pull it and those hurt like mad the longer they get.
