fast engagements
Question: I'm wondering... what are the fastest engagements that you guys have heard of...whether they were your own or someone else's? My fiance and I are shooting for a January wedding...we just got engaged on August 13th. That's a five month engagement. Answer: I know a couple who got engaged after three months of dating. Then got married after three months of engagement... Personally, I think short engagements are wise. Congradulations, by the way! Answer: My parents started dating in June, my Dad proposed on the third date, and they were married in September. My (soon-to-be) fiancee's parents only knew each other for five months before getting married. Both couples have been married for 22 years, and they're still very much in love. Answer: I know a couple who met, got engaged and then married all within 63 days and they are still married like 15 years later! Answer: we were engaged for 4 months, was meant to be 3 months. Answer: My parents got engaged having known eachother 6 weeks and were married a month later than that! They've been married nearly 31 years. Answer: My Uncle. 2 days, they were married after 3 weeks of dating... Still together and happy, unbelievably. My grandparents got married 2 months after meeting. They just up and decided to elope with friends one night over 50 years ago. Both sets of couples reached the golden anniversarry, and cancer ended my grandparents friend's wedding. (he died) Answer: 8 weeks... me Answer: 2 weeks here. My wife and were married three months to the day from when we first met. Answer: My best friend had a short engagement. She met Andy once a year ago and hadn't talked to him since. He ended up being at a get together one night a year later, they talked met again the next night, started dating (this was in June or July) got engaged mid to late August and got married December 17. They were going to do a wedding over spring break, which is mid March here but decided they didn't want to wait. It worked for them and they are very happy together, I can't see myself though having that short of a time span between everything. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
