To help get over a problem it helps to have a accountabily partner. In the Bible it even says that one person is easliy knocked around, two is a little stronger and three is like a cord not easily broken. God justs wants you to stop. Things we have done it our old creation but we are created a like in our new creation. We souldn't be ashamed of our past but we need to learn from it. Do you have the reference for that verse? Sounds like a keeper to memorize
Have you talked to your youth pastor or pastor about it? A trusted friend? If you want an accountability partner, I'd recommend a real-life one above any other types. Especially if it's a good friend.
