I just did a search for her posts, I think every one of her posts (33) has been about this guy.
I understand where you're coming from, but If he says he just wants to be friends, you need to honor that, and do your best to be his friend. Keep hope for the future, but for now just be his friend. If he's not ready for a relationship with you, don't wait for him until he is (which could possibly never come). If you do wait, you'll be missing out on a lot of chances to be with another guy that you might like even more, but you just don't know it yet.
