Question for the 30 somethings & single
Question: Im just curious: Are there many Christians that are in their 30s that are childless and single (never been married)? Is this by choice or have you just not met the right person? How do you feel about this, do you feel pressure to begin a family? Please only respond if you fit into the description of 30 something, childless and never married. Answer: I'm 19, but at a Christian camp I met a man who was probably close to 50 and had never married. I asked him about it, and he said that he had simply never had too much of an interest. He felt God had called him to singleness. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Answer: Granted I'm married, 24, and recently my wife and I took on gaurdianship of her 12 year old brother. Nevertheless, I also work with a man in his 40's I'd say and he says he's happy with his singlehood. Because of his lack of accountability and commitment to another person that marriage/parenthood requires, he's able to do so much more for God. Answer: Thanks. I was requesting first-hand experiences though. I wanted to hear from anyone on this board that is in the situation I described. Thanks. Answer: I know, but there aren't even that many people on here in their 30s. You might do best looking for a message board that is frequented by more people your age. You might have better luck here for example. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
