commission only sales
Question: I have an oppurtunity to sell insurance to senior citizens with Bankers life. they claim that a first year agent can earn 40K. I am considering taking the oppurtunity. but $500 is requied to pay for traing materials and state licensing exams and fees. i am still a bit skeptical of comission based sales. Anyone in comission only sales and do very well at it? Do you think I should pass this oppurtunity up or go for it? the very least I could do is fail. Answer: I am extremely skeptical of commission based sales. Answer: My brother (quite a few years ago now) tried this with Prudential. He is one of those people who could sell snow to an eskimo, but he could not make enough to survive on commission only selling and quit after a few months. For one thing, you are pressured to sell insurance that the elderly do not really need and he was too conscientious to do it. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
