One, i think this belongs in the dating and relationship thread... so sum1 with power must move it...
hmmm...
I dont know... The only real relationship that ive had was with an ex-catholic who had a profound beleif in god... but had a LOT of other stuff going on and conflicts in beleifs of VERY key issues... But there was just... that something y'know? its so hard to explain... But idk... that look she gave me once, just chattin in the library... blew my mind... lol.. And she was an amazingly beautiful person... sure, a lot of the things she beleived and points of veiws she had on certain things conflicted with mine, and even god's... but something just makes you want to stick it out... guess if you like them that much, you want to be there and try and help them see better, and there were some things i changed her mind about, sorta, for the better.
For the longest time i thought she would be fine because she beleived in god and jesus
but a very good point came out in church this sunday
Satan and all his demons beleive in god
We cant just beleive. We have to walk WITH him.

Um, what to say? because you can't resist all the attention you get from them? opposite attracts? the desire for something/someone that you know you can't have?
But seriously probably it's the attention. Picture this.. a true story from a girl point of view. One day you have to work late, you have no cars so you have to use public transportation. For some obvious reason you want your boyfriend to pick you up and take you home. He has no idea that you'd be working late that day. You call him asking for a favor. His answer: "God's angels will be watching over you, nothing bad will happen to you." If you insist that he has to pick you up, it's as good as saying that you don't believe that God will protect you. End of story. Such answer will not come from a non-believer boyfriend.

Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
Thats a dead faith. That said, this thread is downright weird.
Answer:
I don't think this belongs in either of the advice forums either. Personally it's reading as though it's a thread about how people justify dating a non-Christian. Which is sin according to 2 Corinthians 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

On that note, I'm gonna close it for now unless Sigur Ros PM's me and says why this is not the case.
