Advice for my friend!!
Question: My friend is really going through a tough time. She used to be really nice and mature and we had everything in common, but now she's totally different. She listens to suggestive and depressing music, she's snotty about her thing like her mom, and she has a boyfriend and she's just 14 (I think it's too young, in my opinion). I know people change, she's just getting totally caught up in the whole rebellious teenage thing and I think she's losing her faith in Christ. At least she's definitely not living for Christ the way she talks anymore. The thing is I haven't seen her since I was 8 but we've written each other and talked on the phone all the time ever since then. She wrote me about two weeks ago and I've been putting off writing her back because I want to word the letter perfectly...I don't want to sound bossy or anything when I give her some advice. I really want to help her because I care about her and I want to help her before she does something she'll regret! (Her older brother is something of a rebel, so he probably has some influence on her. He was caught with beer a couple years ago under aged and he's really immature). If anyone has any advice on how what I could say in my next letter, I would surely appreciate it! Or if you think I should just back off say nothing, let me know because I really don't know what to do! Answer: Originally Posted by NoQuestion My friend is really going through a tough time. Maybe she's hurting, and the best thing you can do is probably be a supportive friend, and maybe throw in specs of what you believe, but don't push her off. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
