Relationship help
Question: Help, I need some in sight on my relationship. I was told that he is going through his own thing right now and it's to better his self and the only way to do it is to do it along and when he feels like he can come to me and tell me where he is in his transiton with out us agruing he will. We both hardly see each other dut to different work schedules. We have been friends since 12 and just recently got together and became as one for the past year. The relationship has it's ups and downs We are still together. He was just telling me that me going to church with him wasn't good for him right now because he is going through something and it;s to better himself in all parts of hi life and the only way to do that was to do it along. And that I has nothing to do with me it's what he is going through. Whatever he is going through is putting a strain on us because it don't know what to do. Answer: I'm sorry. This has nothing to do with you but I can't find any logic in him saying it's a bad thing for you to come to church with him. I can't make anything of it either other than I know that he recently joined church and like he said it's a transition that he is going through and I can honestly say that he has turn his life around a lot and I guess me begin there is hard for him to continue. But still it makes know since. But I apologized for upsetting him and he said that I had not need to apologize to him I did nothing wrong. he shuts people out when he has problems but I have always been able to be there with him until he joined to church......and been going through this transion... He had been attending church with his father. He was going to church but I guess to say now he has commited his self to church like he has found a church home. Nothing happen between us. Maybe he just has some things in regards to his own walk with Christ he needs to sort out. You said earlier that he wanted to wait to talk to you about this until he thought you two could do so without arguing. Maybe you should take the initiative and ask him about it. I would offer to be a listening and understanding ear about it, and tell him you won't fight about it and KEEP YOUR WORD. Im nt trying to yell just stress that will be important.
