Ive got a classmate of mine and hes reading darren shan books. i read a small part of it(guess the book had the title like something with lord loss...) and it seemed intresting but i just dont kno if its a good thing to read.now ive seen his site now(http://www.darrenshan.com/) i even get more doubts and a cold chill over my back... can anyone tell me more about the books andso? and wether it could influence me negatively of positively? they say its for kids but i dont believe it... anyway... plz share your knowledge.

just from the first page of the web site, he soesn't look like his books are the best to read. now i havnt ever read one of his books; i'm just going by his website. i probably wouldn't read any of his works

actually i think your quite right but its just making me curious how the stories are going when reading bout some man getting at his door and feeling its hot and hearing deep breathing and when he opens the door he discovers hell on earth... i've seen the movie megiddo and it was intresting too... like the anti-christ, demons and such... but that is christian then. i just find demons andso intresting but i agree you should be careful...

I didn't stay for very long at the site, but I think you've already answered your own question. if you don't know whether you should read those books, then I honestly would stay away. if you are doubtful and concerned that something will influence you negatively, then it probaby will. there are plenty of other books out there you can read that won't make you question the rightness or wrongness of reading them.
