I'm requesting prayer for the crew and families of H.M.C.S. Chicoutimi, one of four of Canada's Victoria class submarines which ran adrift in the North Atlantic and was forced to surface on Tuesday of last week due to an engine fire.
Also, Navy Lt. Chris Saunders, a combat systems engineer on board the Chicoutimi, died of smoke inhalation. I saw his burial service in Faslane, Scotland, where the Chicoutimi is now docked, on national TV today, which is what prompted this request. Please pray for all involved in this tragedy, that the tender compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ may reach out to all involved.

I'm totally with there on that. Its so sad he had a 2 year old kid and an 11 week old kid... May Jesus Christ show His love to his family in times of tragedy.
